Bisbee’s Killer Bee Honey store is at 20 Main St, mere steps from the post office and Copper Queen Library. It carries outstanding honey products in a very homey shop with a shopping area of around 60 square feet, making it the smallest retail shop in Bisbee!
Its founder is killer bee authority and removal expert Reed Booth, recognized nationwide for appearing on Fox, National Geographic, Discovery, and the Food Network.
Reed’s award-winning honey products have caused a stir in kitchens around the country… and worldwide.
Reed Booth, a 25-year expert in killer bee removal, was born and raised in northern Wisconsin. He realized he was not covered with fur at an early age, so he searched for warmer climes. His journey took him to almost every state and town, including extensive travel in Latin America.
Reed settled in Bisbee, Arizona, in 1985. This gave him a base to work and allowed him to pursue his numerous interests. As a home brewer and mead (honey wine) maker, it was only natural that removing bees would soon follow.
OPEN:
Bisbee’s Killer Bee Honey store is open 7 days a week from 10ish to 5ish (it’s a Bisbee thing) during the winter months. During the summer, the shop is usually closed one day a week.
