Can I bring my dog?

This is one of the most common questions we’re asked by phone, email, or in person at the Bisbee Visitor Center. While strolling Old Bisbee, we've spotted well-behaved dogs curled underneath chairs at Contessa’s Cantina, and others stretched out at the Bisbee Coffee Company, and High Desert Market & Cafe. Throughout town, fresh bowls of water are routinely set out in front of businesses as a cool doggie thirst quencher in the Arizona heat. Many shopkeepers keep dog treats on hand, too. Bisbee's a pet-friendly kind of place.

Pre-trip planning When you're making travel plans hat will include staying in a hotel, motel or vacation rental property be sure to check on the business’ pet policy. BringFido History Shortly after rescuing her first dog, Rocco, in 2004, BringFido’s founder & CEO Melissa Halliburton grew frustrated with the lack of pet policy information on hotel websites. Melissa and her friends spent a year calling every hotel in the United States, then launched BringFido with the mission of making pet travel easier.
